Very attractive hotel/apartment block located midway between town and the beach, so quiet and yet convenient. Nice pool (though surprisingly cold after a long, hot summer) and outdoor breakfast/lunch area. Staff very friendly and helpful - they even upgraded us to a 2 bed apartment overlooking the pool at no extra cost - because it was available!

Socrates is a lovely hotel. Very friendly owners, Eva and George.
Absolutely perfect pool area, with comfortable sunbeds and a wonderful
garden. We got clean towels every day and the room was perfectly
cleaned. It was about 200 m to the bus stop (32) to Hersonissos and to
the beach 200-250 M. The hotel is perfectly situated in the countryside
quiet yet central. I would definitely go back. And the transfer service

La camera carina e la struttura nuova. Abbastanza vicino sia alla zona dei divertimenti che alla città vecchia. La vita notturna è molto vivace. -

The building style is very nice, and the position very good (5 min to the beach 10-15 min to the old town). Is also a quite area. The owner is very polite and has good intention in solving all problems that we had. It is an average place and I would recommend it for young people (group of friends or couples)

Very good location , very nice , friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is in the heart of Malia and just 2 minuts walking to beach. Lots of bars , restaurants and night clubs are close to this hotel. L'hotel si trova fra il centro di Malia e Stalis (sicuramente più vicino a Stalis) ed anche senza alcun mezzo di trasporto si riesce a girare tranquillamente. We have been to Ariadne for the second time. Nevertheless, I can't describe in details my impressions of stay at Ariadne Beach hotel yet. And there's no too much sense in details... The atmosphere on the spot is a mix of calm, friendliness, and comfort. I guess, the mainstream of the hotel is utter hospitality and a pretty good service.
My special thanks - to the owners and to the management of this nice hotel.

We loved the location. It was right on the beach and right by the shops and restaurants. The town is very busy but not filled with drunken teenagers like in Malia. It is very good for young and older couples and families. The staff were so nice and friendly. The pool bar was outstanding....great drinks and amazing food. We never had any trouble getting a beach chair and umbrella and we always had our choice of beach side tables overlooking the ocean at the restaurants. The water and beach sand
