The hotel was situated very close to the metro with lots of little restaurants and shops scattered around the area. Unfortunately it isn't very close to the beach, however you can take a couple of trains and get there relatively easily in about 40mins. We checked out early purely because we wanted more of an island experience rather than an 'Athens city' one. You will definitely get the feel of what it's like living right in the middle of Athens. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

Great location off the main street so was quiet. Excellent view of the Acropolis. Nice roof top to sit & soak in the view. Close to Plaka area. Hotel staff very attentive, excellent recommendations where to eat in the area. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room but free boiling water readily available from staff in reception, also could purchase tea coffee alcohol etc 24 hrs a day Taxi service to & from the airport organized by the hotel which meant no surprises with cost. very close to omonia metro station. very helpful staff and the price was super cheap for a room(22 euros/night). i stayed in Rome and Paris the same week as backpacker with 5 more people for the same price. not only that, i was given a room with balcony with the view of Athens. and we paid €15 to keep the room until 6pm, great value rather than
