Theo who runs the hotel is the nicest : always a smile, a kind word or a piece of advice. He helped us a lot with his hiking maps. The room is very clean, everything is new and it is decorated in good taste. The breakfast is only 5€ if you stay at the hotel and very complete (Theo is a caterer in Athens during the winter...) and you can have it at your balcony or at a table facing the sea. Of the 7 Greek islands I visited during my trip in Greece this summer my stay on Amorgos at Pension Askas was probably the best. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the room was very nice with a balcony facing the garden and seaside, and the location is great, in a quiet area about a three minutes walk from the beach and the town. The pension's restaurant is very good, and there's a great diving right next door.

Staff at Gryspo's was very polite and friendly, offering to transfer us anywhere we asked (port/beach). Rooms were very spacious and cleaned daily, while the location is very convenient as it set on a quiet road, but just a 5-minute walk from the centre of Aegiali. We had the best holidays ever. The owners Dimitris and Sofia were very friendly and helpfull. We felt not like guests but like been in our home. The room was very clean with an unbelievable view to the sea. Very quite place just 100m from the center of the village. The breakfast was handmaded from the owners. Good wifi connection. -
