The facilities were very modern, warm, comfortable (high quality bedding) and spotlessly clean and the service was wonderful. (Much better than the 5 star we had stayed in at Opatija the previous week). We arrived very early (well before check-in) and were greeted by our friendly host with a nice hot cup of coffee. We were very happy, just to begin with, we arrived into Zagreb almost at 11 pm, we called into Ikar guest house and Marco the kind owner picked us up at the airport; the following day he dropped us to pick up our car at the airport; he really went out of his way to accommodate us. He asked us what time we wanted to have breakfast and had it ready for us !, it was simple but plenty of food: coffee, juice, bread with jelly and butter and also a bid platter with cheese and ham.

We really loved the total dedication and kindness of the owners, always trying to help and make our stay pleasant....They organised for us transportation to Zagreb that is just 10mn away from the Guesthouse....Nice family, nice food, very kind service... We will recommend and come again !!!! -

For a layover it was minutes from the airport. We arrived after checkin time due to travel issues and the owner was so friendly and stayed up and offered us some snacks as everything was closed. Very lovely staff and was a shame we were only there for a night to rest our head.

We very liked the hosts:an older lady with her son.They were very polite,very helpfull and hospitable.After arriving from driving with motorcylce in the rain,they offered to dry our clothes.The house was a bit old,but it was coasy and comfortable.The room was really big for 2 people.The breakfast was good and the lady was very carring.

Un bellissimo posto. I proprietari sono gentilissimi. Eravamo con due cani. Di fronte ce un parco grandissimo per passeggiare.
Stance veramente fatte con grande gusto, molto moderne.
Nonostante che il posto è vicinissimo al aeroporto non si sente niente.
Poche volte abbiamo trovato staff cosi gentile. Veramente bravi.

It is so close to the airport but we didn't hear any planes as they don't fly overnight.
The hostess was amazing - so helpful and friendly and provided free breakfast and good coffee even though this wasn't meant to be included.
The rooms were lovely and so quiet. The kids room was separate and up a spiral staircase so they loved it! There was free wifi. The lady brought us a luggage trolley so we could just walk 5 mins through the park to get to the airport in the morning.

We stayed at room Pleso for one night because we had to take a flight very early in the morning and the guest house is very close to the airport (5 minutes walk).
The owner is a very nice person, very helpful. The room was simple but clean and comfortable, the bathroom also very clean and convenient. Outside of the main house there is a little veranda were you can have coffee/tea.
As our stay wasn't originally planed (our flight had been cancelled the day before so we had to stay one more night
