The location of Villa Squero was perfect. The first 2 nights we stayed in the attic room where we were happy except for the bonking of our heads on the angled ceiling. The view is incredible, looking back at Rovinj and watching the boats come and go. The second 2 nights were with a balcony on the floor below. We dearly loved the room and sitti

We just loved everything. From the location to the fantastic breakfast on the terrace to the most beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the sea. Also, the little touches, like the bottle of sparkling water in the fridge and a gateau to nibble each evening on our return. The hotel is so good for both the old town of Rovinj and also for the wonderful coast line, which we could explore on the free bikes which we got from the hotel. The rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. The property has a beautiful garden, a very good restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool and a playground for children. It's in a quiet location, but within walking distance of the beach. I loved everything about it and would definitely recommend it to everyone! -

You can free park right in front of the house (otherwise it is 8 euro/day). Breakfast was okay, very friendly son. The place is perfect to go to Pula, Rovinj, Porec, .... Medulin has a few restaurants where you can eat cheap. We didn't take a lunch or dinner at the hotel. We had an appartment (space, large bed, terrace, refrigerator). -

Maria, Maria, Maria! What can we say about Maria? She was fantastic! She anticipated and met our every need, from making sure we each had a hotel-provided umbrella (if needed) when we left the hotel, to providing freshly-cooked eggs on the morning of our departure. My husband said they were the best eggs he's ever tasted! The rooms were spotless, but cozy at the same time, and the small staff made us feel right at home. Everything about Arte Casa is just perfect. I spent only one night in this accommodation because I was on the business trip. I needed to leave early in the morning (at 5:30) and the owners woke up and prepared a coffee for me and my colleague. This family-run guesthouse is situated just a few minutes driving from city centre, in a peaceful area. Owners give their best to make you feel welcome. Buffet breakfast was really nice, especially their home-made jam.

The guest house was, in relation to other accommodation in Opatija, very good price/quality ratio. Everything was very clean and new. Very convenient to have parking facility. The location was a bit tricky to find and one should be aware it is not right in Opatija.
We were looking for an overnight stop on our way south along the coast so it was the perfect stopover. Whilst Optaija is a glorious old Austro Hungarian style resort it is not, (in my opinion only ), a place for a longer stay.

Great place, as close as you can get to the park/nature preserve. Very comfortable rooms and run by a lovely couple who can help you make the most of your trip, with recommendations for beaches, restaurants, and nearby adventures. They also rent bikes, so you can explore the area. Highly recommended, we would love to come back soon! -
