  The location of Villa Squero was perfect. The first 2 nights we stayed in the attic room where we were happy except for the bonking of our heads on the angled ceiling. The view is incredible, looking back at Rovinj and watching the boats come and go. The second 2 nights were with a balcony on the floor below. The breakfast was the best so far in our trip: 2 kinds - We just loved everything. From the location to the fantastic breakfast on the terrace to the most beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the sea. Also, the little touches, like the bottle of sparkling water in the fridge and a gateau to nibble each evening on our return. The hotel is so good for both the old town of Rovinj and also for the wonderful coast line, which we could explore on the free bikes which we got from the hotel.   The rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. The property has a beautiful garden, a very good restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool and a playground for children.   Gute und ruhige Lage, nicht zu weit vom Stadtkern und von den Stränden entfernt. Fahrradverleih zu moderaten Preisen mit recht neuen Fahrrädern.   Everything about Arte Casa is just perfect. I spent only one night in this accommodation because I was on the business trip. I needed to leave early in the morning (at 5:30) and the owners woke up and prepared a coffee for me and my colleague. This is a very well- - The guest house was, in relation to other accommodation in Opatija, very good price/quality ratio. Everything was very clean and new. Very convenient to have parking facility. The location was a bit tricky to find and one should be aware it is not right in Opatija. We were looking for an overnight stop on our way south along the coast so it was the perfect stopover. Whilst Optaija is a glorious old Austro Hungarian style resort it is not, (in my opinion only ), a place for a longer stay.
