I liked the staff at the front desk. They were very polite and very helpful. I liked the big bottles of shampoo, bath gel and lotion. The rooms where bright, clean, & very quite. The bed/pullout sofa were very comfortable. I booked a suite with pull out sofa & 1 queen bed. I liked the efficienty kitchen & that fact that the bedroom was separate from the main area. I like the extra emenities - ie: popcorn for late-night snack, plus fresh fruit, juice/water, &

Five of us stayed in a two-bedroomed suite, overnighting between landing at the airport and picking up a motorhome. This was the best hotel experience of our Canadian holiday; not the swankiest, not the best located, not the most elegant, but by far the most hospitable. Early check-in? No problem. Free cookies and drinks in the foyer. Free popcorn in the suite. Excellent free simple early supper with good home-made soup and DIY subs. Mini-tennis court. Good clean rooms, beds and lime. This hotel is great value with a wonderful location in downtown
Edmonton. It is only a short walk to all sorts of shops and
restaurants. The legislature is also near by. We found the staff
friendly and helpful. -

The room was perfect, the service from the front desk was great - they called after we got to our room to make sure everything was satisfactory. The breakfast was excellent! Absolutely nothing but good things to say about this hotel! -
This hotel is obviously catering to business clients and was perfect for a quiet night's sleep. Recommended.

We stayed in this resort for a night and it was absolutely amazing. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The two bedroom apartment was large with large bedrooms. The kitchen was fully furnished and the kitchen stuff were all of a great quality. The balcony was great and there was a nice grill inside the balcony. The airconditioners were working great. I'm sure this place is one of the best places to stay in Canmore.

Rooms clean and have usual amenities like towels, iron, hair drier. Neither great nor poor. Fair value for price. Handy to rapid transit. Quiet except for a small group of noisy guests in hall for a couple of minutes. -

We love what Douglas Fir has to offer our two Granddaughters in terms of facilities(the pool, hot tub and play park).
We had a one bedroom chalet which was perfect for us and Douglas Fir provided a playpen and highchair, which meant we did not have to pack them in the car.
We love being able to take the bus for free, and we love the friendly staf

The Waterslides and Indoor Playground were BIG hits with the kids!! The fireplace and free wood were most welcome. The surprisingly convenient and well-stocked store on site was also a welcome convenience. The full kitchen and nearby parking were very handy. The location is far enough from town that it is quiet at night, but a close bus ride, short drive, or half hour walk away from the Resort.

Large room, beautiful view from our balcony, quiet. Enjoyed the continental breakfast coupons, and with the meager 7.35 extra charge, all the bacon, scrambled eggs, sausages and hash browns you wanted. Ideal for families with children. Would return anytime...Staff very friendly! -

Great service; close to the Edmonton International Airport; quick courtesy pick up at the Airport and transported to the hotel. Room was very comfortable, shower great, very clean & tidy; great Wi-Fi access and speed; lots of choices for the TV service. -

Loved the jacuzzi suite. The steamer in the shower was an added bonus. Room was one of the nicest that we've stayed in. Will go back there again! Buffet dinner was excellent, buffet breakfast was delicious too. -
Beds were very comfortable, breakfast was excellent and staff were friendly
