  Ideal location, walking distance to village, but very private and secluded. Mere steps from small beach. Private boat to pick you and your bags up from main dock. Each room has veranda with hammock - lovely to sit and listen to the waves. Front desk staff spoke English and were very helpful. Even have beach towels you can borrow. We were with another family and between us we had two toddlers. Our children were made to feel very welcome and the chef's made child friendly meals which we really appreciated. The bungalows had gorgeous beach and garden views and overall our stay was excellent.

  Rodrigo and Rita were the friendliest and most helpful people. They spoke excellent English and gave us great tips on where to go and what to do. The breakfasts were superb, homemade cakes were a particular highlight. I would recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay in Ilha Grande. - Staff is outstanding, Rodrigo and his wife run the place (and live there) and they simply could not be more accommodating. They give great tips about the area, and are always available. The location is fantastic, with the jungle overhead, a river flowing next to the open space, monkeys and birds nearby. The room was nice and clean, no complaints but it is not a luxury resort. The value is outstanding.

  Friendly & helpful staff. Good breakfast, with fresh fruits & cake. Location was good (the village is small, so I guess most locations are Ok) Small fridge in the room. - Josefina, the girl who works at the pousada was really nice to us. She helped to make our stay in Ilha Grande a great one

  The hotel is located only 50 meters from the main dock. The hotel is directly in front of the beach and breakfast is served looking out over the sea. Breakfast is varied, including lots of fresh fruits. The staff speaks English and is very helpfull. The rooms are nice and clean, including a/c and a refrigerator.   If you want to know something about the island, Klaus, the german owner, who lives there for 20 years, has a lot to tell you. And he's very kind and helpful as well. And by the way it's a very quite & peaceful spot.
