We had a wonderful stay at Sagu and the host, Jean Louis, and all the staff really looked after us. We were with another family and between us we had two toddlers. Our children were made to feel very welcome and the chef's made child friendly meals which we really appreciated. The bungalows had gorgeous beach and garden views and overall our stay was excellent.

I really liked the hotell in general, it looks nice and the staff is very friendly and helpful even though most of them don't speak english we didn't have any communication problems. The back yard with hammocks and meditation area and breakfast in the yard make this hotel stand out. Lovely!

This was our favourite place out of the dozen or so we stayed in during our month in Brazil. Our room - with two balconies, a hammock and a private bathroom with a hot shower - was immaculately clean and comfortable. Fabulous staff, who managed to accommodate us at very short notice. Roger one of the managers is especially attentive to all travellers and will happily show you the many attractions and tips of the island.
Rooms with a hammock and they provide many activities should it rain such as a games room and tv area. Plus each room has DVDs and a library.
The Balinese style set up really makes this place something special!

Theresa is a very nice lady , you feel very welcome, she only speaks Portugese but you wll understand. Rooms are very clean, brekfast is great, fruits, bread, cake everything. I would recommend this place to everyone! -

The pousada is really nice, wonderful location, inside yard and breakfast. The staff is always helpful and gave us some tips, rooms simple but have all you need and are always clean. Definitely worth it and definitely recomendable. -

It's so cute! Great position a (small) block from the beach. Friendly staff, a fridge in the room and a balcony with outdoor furniture to enjoy.
