  the hotel was tucked away in poperinge near Ypres and was quite delightful. The rooms were very nice with excellent bathrooms. The 4 course set meal was delicious and good value for money.   Clean and comfortable. Excelent cost benefit. A friendly and helpful lady as host. Nice breakfast. Quiet surroundings (it is a country house) near Brugge. Bikes available for rent. - Very nice rooms, extremely friendly staff, very stylish rooms and house. Luxury, much more than the two star rate, for sure a 4 star luxury hotel. A real pleasure!

Overall the facilities are very highly highly commended. - The Aphrodite B& B was of 5 star standard with spacious rooms furnished to an exceptionally high standard. The host Heidi & Dirk were superb and most welcoming. The breakfasts were wonderful and would keep us going for the day. We would definitely stay there again. Ideally located for Ieper and the battlefields of the First World War. Dirk is a first class guide to the area.
