fabulous hosts, going above and beyond their duty to make us feel
welcome and relaxed. The layout of the B&B, the fantastic rural

I was visiting with a friend & my son & stayed in the suite
which was ideal with two rooms. The purpose of our trip was to visit the
ww1 sites & the holel was in a lovely situation overlooking the town
square with many other bars & restuarants available to relax after
our visits. Hotel spotless & friendly well situated for the bus stop
& train station with late trains from Eiper. The food served in the
restuarnt was superb as was the service. Would certainly return.

The greeting we received when we arrived was very welcoming - this 'set the scene' for our experience of the hotel. We had hired a car for our exploration of the area, so were very glad that there was plenty of parking space. The room was spacious and very clean. It was a very easy walk to Menin Gate and to the town itself! We have been traveling around Europe for a month & stayed in many hotels - the Hotel Ariane was one of the best. We have stayed here twice now at christmas time and it has had a really festive feel both times. The rooms are really clean and nicely decorated and also the dining room. The lady that runs the guesthouse is very friendly and the location is great, just behind the square. Would definately stay there again.

The Aphrodite B& B was of 5 star standard with spacious rooms furnished to an exceptionally high standard. The host Heidi & Dirk were superb and most welcoming.
The breakfasts were wonderful and would keep us going for the day.
We would definitely stay there again.
Ideally located for Ieper and the battlefields of the First World War. Dirk is a first class guide to the area.

Arriving at the hotel on Wednesday with my husband was delightful, I hadthe flu and could not have gone anywhere better. This is a wonderfulplace to stay which we will certainly be returning to. - It felt like a home away from home. this hotel is a MUST when you stay in the Roeselare area. You are in the quiet country side with easy access to all motorways. The room was unique in all aspects. Everything - location, staff, quality of food, peace and quiet, comfort. The owners are wonderful and cannot enough to make your stay the best possible. It was helpful that one of the owners is Scottish so there was no language problem. We'll definitely be returning here. Only one and a half hour's drive from Calais.

A cosy small hotel. Very good to relax from the stress of the city. Very good service and a good and quiet breakfast. You can even sleep in because the breakfast can be taken until noon.
