  This hotel is beautiful. It is extreamily well presented and by far the best hotel I have stayed in. There is a gorgeous log fire as you enter the reception. The room was more like an apartment and had a fabulous spar bath and more charactor then you can imagine. I would recomend this hotel to everyone as it is perfect.   I cannot fault my stay at Flowerdews Bed & Breakfast. The owners could not have been more accomodating, friendly nor welcoming. The accomodation and facilities were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. What had the potential to be a stressful business trip to Winchester was transformed into a pleasant visit due to my brief stay at Flowerde... ce que les gens disent » ws. I would not stay anywhere else should I ever need to return to Winchester in the future and highly recommend Flowerdews B & B. - Liz was very welcoming, friendly and helped us with directions to where we were going on two occasions. Room was well appointed and Flowerdews is in walking distance of Winchester where we were meeting friends. Breakfast was excellent and other guests were obviously cheerful and happy in their surroundings. A great stay - would repeat this and stay a little longer!

  Lovely setting. Excellent communications when I had reason to contact the hotel directly. The recently refurbished rooms and restaurant were a real treat and the food was yummy. We booked some time ago and the new owners honoured our booking price which made our trip the bargain of the Century. We weren't expecting breakfast to be included, so were pleasantly surprised to find a continental breakfast delivered to the room as well as milk, water butter and jam (for the coissants) already in the fridge. We had our small son with us and he was provided with crayons and a colouring chart which was very thoughtful and provi - Amy gave us an excellent welcome on arrival. the room was extremely clean and comfortable. since we were leaving early the next day, the staff brought over many food items for us to be able to have some breakfast before leaving. the food at the for and hound is very well priced and of very good quality. The room given to visitors are at the back of the Fox and Hound proper so the place is extremely quite. I must emphasis that the staff go out of the way to make your stay enjoyable and comf

  A family run hotel just 4 miles from Winchester. An idyllic setting near river perfect peace. Great full breakfast and dinner and beer inside or in beer garden All staff were very polite and friendly We only wished we had longer !
