I liked everything, they were very welcoming and as I was travelling alone I felt very relaxed there. The room was large and comfy and the dining room was most welcoming. I only had breakfast at the hotel but this was very nice. - Very friendly and service was excellent. All the facilities were excellent and the hotel was in a good location.

Everything! The couple who own the Hotel made me feel very welcome. The Hotel is lovely, my room was immaculate and breakfast was great. Its in a fantastic location for the Torbay area and walking distance from Torre station. I have stayed in several hotels and would easily say this is nicest place I have stayed for the price. - Friendly welcoming

My husband and I absolutely love the way Julie and John greet their guests. It's like visiting an old friend's house: going into the living room, have a cuppa and a lovely chat, rather than the usual "business like" check in. It's the most friendly English B&B I've ever stayed. The breakfast is lovely, made to order in the family-like kitchen by Julie, while John is chatting with you about great places to visit in Torquay. Chris and Karen are fantastic hosts and cannot do enough for you. My son plays for Torquay United and lives a long way from home so we don't get to see him very often, Karen allowed him to come and join us for breakfast even though he never stayed at the baytree.
