Despite poor weather that put paid to our weekend golfing break, we still had a great time in Torquay. Janet and Andrew both made us feel extremely welcome and couldn't do enough for us. The rooms were immaculate as was the rest of the hotel.

Exceeded my expectations, the room was large with lots of free space as was my en-suite. It was a pleasant stay, starting with a warm welcome, a lot of useful ideas for activities, very clean rooms, famous garden, to stay for a drink; just perfect. If we come again to Torquay we will stay there for sure. We can only recommend this hotel.

Ferndale hotel is on its own nestled high up on a ledge surrounded by trees making it a very cosy romantic place to stay just what we wanted and the four poster room number 6 was clean and the bed was beautiful and comfortable.
