We liked everything about our stay at the Villa Marina.Peter&Viv are the perfect hosts.Our room was spotless and comfortable.A fantastic power shower,even the towels smelt fresh&clean.The breakfasts were delicious,cooked to order,it all tasted amazing.We can't wait to go back for our third visit.

Chris and Karen are fantastic hosts and cannot do enough for you. My son plays for Torquay United and lives a long way from home so we don't get to see him very often, Karen allowed him to come and join us for breakfast even though he never stayed at the baytree. We loved the stay at this hotel. It is located in a beautiful location. The restaurant had views of the bay/seafront. Our room was located on Belgrave rd, so we had wonderful views of the gardens in Abbey Park. The breakfast was wonderful and very comprehensive! My 4 yr old son wanted to buy the hotel (we were in Torquay viewing properties). -

Lovely hosts and staff made the stay at the hotel very enjoyable. Very good breakfast in the morning too.
Also, good size room for a solo traveller, double bed. A really pleasant stay and I am looking forward to staying there again.

The rather grand and very traditional style, especially of the spacious dining and reception areas on the ground floor. Relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Very good Full English breakfasts. Helpful staff. Good location, facing the sea, on the western edge of central area but easy walking distance to the harbour and town. Ample car parking space.
