Exceeded my expectations, the room was large with lots of free space as was my en-suite. The hotel generally was clean and tidy and the breakfasts were homecooked and delicious. - The owners of The Charterhouse made us feel very welcome. The house is in a great location for Torquay and near to Cockington Country Park. The hotel is great and you feel right at home in a relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast room was very pleasant and the breakfast was excellent. We couldn't have asked for more. We will be booking again.

Essentiellement l'accueil et la disponibilité des gens - Only stayed the one night but found the rooms comfortable with everything you could wish for, down the complimentry sewing kit, shower cap, make up pads and toileteries. The owners were really welcoming and helpful, even insisting on carrying are luggage to and from the car. Highly recommende

We loved everything about the Tusker Hotel, we just wanted somewhere reasonable and nice to stay and that is exactly what we got here. We were greeted with a friendly face when we arrived and shown to a lovely little cosy room, basic and small but all we needed. The staff were friendly and the breakfast good. A front and back entrance available for late night returns without disturbing anyone. Located within a short walk of the sea front and shops. Overall, a pleasant stay and good value for money. Would stay there again.

the games room, we used the most.there was a very gfood singer, that was not really our thing, but everyone else seemed to like it , and we could enjoy it,but still play pool etc in the annex off from it, so it was well thought out - Very impressed by naveens hospitality and even upgraded myroom...nice one!
