Fantastic view from bedroom . Friendly welcome and service , large comfortable dining room with lovely view . Ate dinner there both nights , very good standard of food and very friendly , but efficient service in the restaurant . Breakfast was very good also . We would very happily visit again . -

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Food was good in both Morgans and
Zest. Complimentary tea and coffee were both good. Bed comfortable,
although a tiny bit too soft for my liking but that's just my
preference. -

Great location, good price, friendly staff, great leisure facilities,lovely modern room with some character. Didn't eat here so cannotcomment about food but menu and bar looked good. - Staff were welcoming, helpful and the food was fantastic and above all the bed was really comfortable. Would heartily recommend.

It's a remarkable place - everything is done with so much care and great attention to detail. Someone has gone to a lot of trouble to think about what makes a holiday enjoyable. One of the best places that we've ever stayed at. The owner too is remarkably friendly and helpful. -

I received a very friendly welcome from the staff. The room was clean
and well-equipped for the price that I paid. When my circumstances
changed and I had to cancel my second night there, the staff were most
considerate and helpful. They cleared my room (I had to stay in hospital
overnight), kept my things safe until I could collect them, and gave

I found the staff to be very friendly without being fussy. The rooms are excellent and I can say this with experience as I have stayed on numerous occasions. The food is excellent. The hotel is located just outside Abergavenny good views of the countryside. I will be back ( If you are not full)

The guesthouse although old added to the ambience of the building. The proprietor could not have been more friendly, courteous and helpful he was a lovely man. The rooms were clean and all you needed for your stay. The breakfast perfect again excellent value and you couldnt have got better in a first class hotel. Will stay there again should I have to stay in Newport.
