When my circumstances changed and I had to cancel my second night there, the staff were most considerate and helpful.   The Knoll was full of original, eccentric Victorian-style features and was a great place to stay. The room was small but comfortable, and the whole house was very warm and welcoming. Barry was a great host and left me to my own thing when needed, whilst also being available to help and advise when necessary. The proprietor could not have been more friendly, courteous and helpful he was a lovely man. The rooms were clean and all you needed for your stay.
