Fantastic few days in the peak district made perfect by our stay in the innkeepers lodge. The staff went over and above to make our stay special. Ali, the housekeeper, gave me a lift back to my car after a walking adventure with the grandchildren. Staff appeared really interested in our plans and were really friendly. loved Castleton, beautiful real english feel, quaint village setting. we stayed at the inn keepers lodge,acoss from castle inn pub, we took our new husky dog,and the staff were absolutely brilliant, very helpful,personable and friendly, we will go back, x cindy,cliff and blue.

The staff were great, I arrived 10 minutes after making the booking and caught them on the hop but I was able to eat a really pleasant meal whilst they prepped the room.
The room was great and the following morning I enjoyed an excellent breakfast cooked by the owner.
Overall a lifesaver and somewhere if I'm in the area I will definitely stay aga

Very good location for visiting Donnington Park and NT property.
Safe/easy parking.
No noisy Wedding Party on Saturday night as encountered in larger hotels!

Excellent little hotel in nice quiet area, we stayed for a trip to Alton towers and is only 5-10 minutes drive away, staff were very helpful and breakfast was very nice,
We accidently left our ipad in the room on departure but staff were very helpful and held it safe so we were able to collect it after our day at alton towers

Really welcoming and such a lovely little pub/hotel. Very pretty and room were very cosy. A lovely place to relax after a hectic first day at alton towers.
The menu selection was high end and the food was amazing and such high quality.
My boy friend is a chef himself and he was very impressed and quality or food.
Breakfast was fab as well - enough to kick start a second day at alton towers

The staff were very helpful and friendly, room was clean and extremely comfortable and the location absolutely beautiful.
The breakfast was substantial and the evening menu was also very good. Another plus, we were told they used locally sourced products. -

Owners Michael and Fiona were an absolute delight, nothing too much trouble. Fiona even produced some rice cakes for my non-wheat-eating partner at breakfast, and Michael dropped us off in town himself when we asked about taxis. Thanks again, Michael. The bed was huge and comfortable, and it was a nice touch to offer a flask of fresh milk for tea

We were at a wedding nearby so popped over to quickly check in between events! We received a warm welcome on arrival and our room felt homely and clean. Very comfortable bed with loads of pillows and bedding good quality. Excellent breakfast next day, service very good. Fiona and Mike are a lovely couple who quickly make you feel at home. We would happily recommend Hawthorn Farm to others.

Calme dans la campagne près de Derby - le long d'un petit canal avec des péniches de loisir.
Ancienne ferme aménagée très agréablement, notre chambre donnait sur une petite cours intérieure très agréable.
Chambres modernes et bien équipées
Pub attenant fort agréable pour manger le soir et pas d'inconvénient de bruit -

The staff were extremely helpful and attentive.
The bedroom was very attractive, with comfortable bed, plenty of space for clothes with hangers. Bathroom was well fitted with a lovely power shower, and nice extras like shampoo etc.

so well located, visiting Renishaw hall, Cauldwell Mill, Matlock, beautifull scenery,Bakewell, all near by.Dusty Miller's,very friendly, Adrian, and family, couldn't do enough to make are stay a happy and comfortable one. also good menu, plus carvery, great entertainment, at night.

The staff were fantastic, very friendly and attentive to your needs. Food was great and extremely good value for money. Even though the rooms are small they are clean and modern. It is a very nice place to stay. Very convenient for access to the M1.

The breakfast was generous and excellent and we (6 of us) decided to have our evening meal there each evening of our 3 night stay. The selection was superb; the quality marvellous and the portions generous. Throughout

We loved our room with its huge comfortable bed and view of the church opposite. A delicious breakfast was included in the price of the room and we were given a menu on arrival to tick off what we wanted.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. I only say the facilities are "good" rather than "excellent" because it is an old-fashioned B&B, with unmatched furniture and no pretensions. For us that was a positive, but others might be disappointed, since comfort is ahead of decor here.

A relaxed pub atmosphere and obviously very popular and busy. Our room was in the Papermill pub across the road and was very comfortable although a bit noisy with sounds from the bar and smokers outside. Breakfast was very good. -

The inn was decorated beautifully for Christmas it and the staff are very friendly and helpful even though they were busy with customers when we arrived. The room was a good size and very clean, a good selection of hot drinks on the tray. Stay here if you are wanting to relax away from busy life. The setting is stunning, the only downfall being a very busy road outside, but you could not here it from inside the inn. There are beautiful walks, lovely cafes and tearooms, locals are very friendly

Spacious room and lots of picknick areas to choose from. Although the restrant was closed we were allowed to order in food and eat this at the picnic areas. Staff very laid back and friendly. Very clean and modern rooms. Very peaceful.

We LOVED the Risley Guest House! The room was beautifully decorated with fresh and cheerful colors and so very clean. Wonderful fluffy towels and a modern bathroom were an added bonus! Also the down pillows and very comfortable mattress were great for sleeping. Sarah is an awesome and gracious hostess and her hot English breakfast was delicious. W

Very friendly staff, lovely clean room with a beautiful view of the hills around Bakewell. Facilities for self-catering. Very quiet location, and yet still a short walk down the hill to the town centre. Will certainly return next time we are staying in the area. -
