We liked the friendly hosts and the attractive and well appointed house. We were offered a drink and snack on arrival and were given fresh milk for our teas and coffee in our room. The views are very pleasant and the location convenient for the main road but nice and quiet. The food was good and the water was hot. There were complimentary bottles

We stayed at homesford cottage on the 22nd of March and were greeted by Julie who was incredibly welcoming. On that particular weekend there was quite a lot of snow and there were no taxis running on the Friday night so Julie gave us a lift into Cromford to one of the local pubs. Beautiful location,room was immaculate & furnishings luxurious. But what made it extra-special was Julie- she was so welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble.Breakfast is cooked to order,just make sure you leave enough room for her home-made cake! Or take it with you! Thanks to Kathryn for her recommendation.Only regret was not being able to stay longer...but hope to stay again soon.Thankyou Julie x

Small (4 rooms) and friendly. Julie provided for our every need, and was just lovely. We had an attic room (the one with the wall with black flowered wallpaper) which was very well maintained and clean with a big bed and LCD TV. -

Sue & John were very attentive at all times, We stayed in the Derwent suite which was very spacious and comfortable, with a top speck bathroom. I was extremely pleased with my stay in the Castle Green B&B. The accommodations were excellent and the hosts were very attentive and provided useful local advise on dining and wining. They also accommodated my special request for an early breakfast as I needed to leave before breakfast time.
Exceeded my expectations and would go back.
