We found this delightful place very near to the village center. The owner and her daughter were extremely polite, caring and helpful, on our arrival they had provided us with loads of guides and plenty of info for our hiking trip across and around the lakes. We had room 3 with the 4 poster bed, it was soooooo comfortable! Diane
the b&b owner was very hospitable, she tailored our stay to meet our
needs, my friend left her electric cigarette charger at home so Diane
let us use her personal computer to charge it. Also, when we got there
Diane had left leaflets and a map on our bed, this helped so much during
our stay. The breakfast was nice and the location is perfect, a 5 minute
walk in to the village of windemere and a 20 minute walk to bowness

This was a lovely stay in the Lakes District and we really couldn't have chosen better. I loved everything about the place. It's location (very close to Scafell Pike, Wast Water, and other great places in the Lake District), it's character, the breakfast, the comfort of the room (it was a huge ensuite room with a nice bath), the honesty bar, and above all, the owners. They are extremely friendly and very helpful. A lovely couple. I definitely recommend this place.

When we got to Lakeside House we were personally shown to our room - No 1. The room was very roomy, comfortable and nicely decorated. The bed was huge! The location was brilliant - just a short walk to the centre of Keswick. Breakfast was excellent - particularly the Eggs Benedict. All the staff were friendly and gave us good advice on places

Everything! Warm and friendly, welcoming, respectful, happy and competent staff, wonderful breakfasts beautifully prepared/cooked, decor restful with warm tones modern but not clinical. And the view from our bedroom window was truly spectacular. We will return without hesitation or doubt!

The breakfast is all fresh and local; no problem catering for my mother's gluten-free diet. -
The rooms, the food, the atmosphere, and the service were all great! Staying there was like visiting family that has a great chef.

A very warm, clean and well equipped room. We brought our 'well-behaved' spaniel who loved the guesthouse and our host.
The cooked breakfast was excellant.
We were warmly welcomed, well fed and very well look after during our stay. We loved it!
