We were going on holiday to St Ives and decided to travel on the Friday night with an overnight stop nearby, instead of Saturday morning to beat the traffic jams. Arrived here to friendly reception at about 11.30pm with drinks brought to room. Rooms were smart, breakfast enjoyable, dining area had outside terrace with views and location was absolutely perfect for our travel plans. Would recommend to anyone doing what we did.

The staff were exceptionally helpful - nothing was too much trouble. I also liked the fact that there was secure parking right next to the hotel - great value for central parking in Truro. - friendly staff, lovely room with free upgrade, great dinner and breakfast

All the staff without exception were friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and professional. This greatly enhanced the experience of our holiday. The bar meals and breakfasts that we had were similaly excellent. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is set a long way off the road with lovely grounds. The rooms look as if they are chalet style, each with a balcony, and inside the open plan bathroom/shower is a nice touch and makes the room even more spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Room exceptionally clean and well presented. The food in the restaurant was superb and the waiting staff professional and friendly. The pool, steam room and sauna all very well done in the spa - great for a relaxing couple of days.

St Mellion is a superb place to stay. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable with in-room tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Only on site for 10 hours (arrived late and left early) - but what I sore was all good.
Breakfast options on the day start from approx £5 if you want tea and toast, lots of options up to the £12.50 full English which was very good.
Spa looked great, would have loved to have spent more time there.
The place was apparently full, I sore about 6 guests during my short stay and heard no one - very quiet. Beautiful surrounds.

Unfortunately our short stay at Camborne was to attend a family funeral. Our special thanks would like to go to Tina the receptionist who was very kind and immediately knew and catered for our needs. She made us all feel that we would like to come back to Camborne in more happier circumstances.

The staff were extremely helpful, the check in process was fast and efficient. The room was warm and comfortable. The Staff at the May Tree Restaurant next door were equally pleasant and efficient, and the restaurant had a good family atmposhere. Thank you. -

Excellent customer service from the minute of entering right through to leaving. Nothing was too much for them. Everywhere you went it was clean. Nice size rooms, restuarant etc. Definitely would recommend it and possibly return again maybe even withthe children this time. -

The reception that we were greeted with was very welcoming.We were shown to our room and everyhing was explained really well of how to use everything in the room .The room was beautifull,really decorated well and clean and comfortable with plenty of space.

I had visited bude about ten years ago but was unable to see much of the area as it was for a bereavment so i wanted to spend a little more time there so i returned there this time last year unfortunately i was delayed in my arrival and the weather was not to great but the Brendon Arms was most wecoming and i hand a fantastic meal that night which made me want to return which i did getting more time to enjoy Bude and the Brendon Arms was just as good as last year.
