  Friendly owners and really comfy room. The location was perfect - really close to the sea and the town. - could'nt fault a thing - spotlessly clean, excellent facilities, fantastic staff and superb breakfast!!

We could leave our bikes in their court, which was fantastic. I recommend this place. - The room was comfortable and spotless, and reasonable size. It was very quiet, the bed was comfortable. Abbey Lodge is perfectly positioned for a stroll into town or along the seafront. Bernadotte and her husband were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was exactly as and when requested.

  Helen and William were absolutely fabulous hosts, and it was an utter pleasure to stay at their guest house! The room was clean, well presented, comfortable and had all the little extras we often take for granted (tea, coffee, and chocolates to go with)! We will definitely be visiting again! - Helen, the owner of Boydens house, was extremely friendly and welcoming us with bright smile. The room we stayed as fantastic, especially for young couple and breakfast was great too. Just a few mins to walk to central Brighton and Brighton Pier, and lots of restaurants, pubs, bars, and supermakets around area. I'd like to strongly recommend it to my friends and families.

There was a lot of choices for breakfast and we opt for the classic english and ve - The welcome was warm, with a quick but efficient guide to all of the amenities, we were shown to our room with all the courtesy of a top class guesthouse. The bedroom was fantastic, very clean and tidy, with quite possibly one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in for a long time!! Bathroom was small but spotless and everything worked, hot water etc. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, and the free access to the kitchen drinks and snacks was a welcome respite from the "minibar" set

  Great value for money, room small but there was a private toilet and shower with clean towels, soap and shower gel, which was great. Wouldn't expect more for the price I paid. When I arrived the lady was very helpful and told me everything I needed to know about how the hotel works.
