  I was there because my son was competing in the Special Olympics in Bath. I stayed at the YHA because it was close to the University campus and a good price and I like an adventure. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, the building was interesting, food was delicious and freshly cooked and reasonable prices staff were really friendly and helpf... ce que les gens disent » ul. I met lots of interesting people travelling through from many different countries. I felt relaxed there even though I was on my own. If I needed - I regularly stay here because of my commuting lifestyle. Having stayed in all of Bath's hostels, YHA is definitely the best.. By far! It has so many more benefits and facilities than the others. The showers are actually hot in private wet rooms within a communal setting. I also like that there is a sink in all of the dorm rooms. Food can be kept in the fridges in the self catering kitchen and all cooking facilities from microwaves to gas cookers and ovens. Like with any hostel, take padlocks a

  This place is a gem! We stayed in the apartment for two nights, which has all you need including central heating, king sized bed with duvet and two pillows each, shower room with power shower and plenty of hot water, separate living/ dining area with dining table, comfortable settee, TV and DVD, separate fully equipped kitchen with washing machine... ce que les gens disent » , fridge/ freezer, full sized oven with gas hob and good supply of pots, pans, cutlery and crockery. Outside there is a south facing patio garden that - Fab place to stay. Nothing was too much for the owners. We were made to feel welcome from the start and the breakfast was plenty to keep us going for most of the day! The town was a short walk away - prob about 10 minutes. The room was comfortable and surprisingly quieter than expected as it is on a busy main road. There is no parking available but we were provided with a parking permit as soon as we arrived which saved us a lot of money on parking fees. I would definitely stay there again.

  We loved everything about this beautiful Manor House - it's quaint, atmospheric, comfortable and luxurious with the most amazing and incredibly friendly owners, Norman & Beth. The piano in the hallway was utilised by another guest and it was pleasant to hear in the morning while we were getting ready. The hotel is quaint and eccentric, which gives it some charm.   A luxurious feel to the rooms, the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The room was well kitted out and the bed was very comfortable. Just what you want for a couple of nights away. The view from the window, which looks out over a cricket pitch and Bath abbey, was beautiful, lovely for sitting eating and watching the world go by. I will be recommending this place to everyone! - The rooms were amazingly decorated and very spacious and clean. We had a ground floor room with a conservatory and our daughters were on the first floor. There was a small kitchen in each room which we only used for coffee/tea, but you could do some self catering. It was great having a car park and the walk into the town centre was a 5-10min stroll across the Pulteney Bridge. Would definitely stay here again on next visit to Bath.
