Very quiet. Slept well. I stayed before in Bath city centre hotels and the noise from the street made it hard to sleep full nights. But it was great at the university of Bath. It is a bit out of the city, but then again, it is quiet. Also has great facilities on-site: supermarket, cashpoints, post office desks, bars, etc. -

Breakfast was also good and while the uni is out of town the bus runs every ten or twenty minutes from around 7.30 to midnight so getting around wasn't a problem. For the price it's a bargain.

I was there because my son was competing in the Special Olympics in Bath. I stayed at the YHA because it was close to the University campus and a good price and I like an adventure. I regularly stay here because of my commuting lifestyle. Having stayed in all of Bath's hostels, YHA is definitely the best.. By far! It has so many more benefits and facilities than the others. The showers are actually hot in private wet rooms within a communal setting. I also like that there is a sink in all of the dorm rooms. Food can be kept in the fridges in the self catering kitchen and all cooking facilities from microwaves to gas cookers and ovens. Like with any hostel, take padlocks a

Fab place to stay. Nothing was too much for the owners. We were made to feel welcome from the start and the breakfast was plenty to keep us going for most of the day! The town was a short walk away - prob about 10 minutes. The room was comfortable and surprisingly quieter than expected as it is on a busy main road. There is no parking available but we were provided with a parking permit as soon as we arrived which saved us a lot of money on parking fees. I would definitely stay there again.

There was a cosy family feel to the hotel, with only 5 or 6 bedrooms and a very personal touch. We were offered a cup of tea in the garden when we first arrived, and breakfast was cooked to order and served in a family dining room with the other guests in the morning. The piano in the hallway was utilised by another guest and it was pleasant to hear in the morning while we were getting ready. The hotel is quaint and eccentric, which gives it some charm. All of the our stay was excellen. From the moment we arrived and greeted with smiling faces, and very time we saw a memeber of staff they would always smile and chat to you. I liked everything about this location. The guest amenities were thoughtful, caring and very welcoming. The location is excellent, the flat was very warm and comfortable. The owners did everything in their power to leave us with nothing to want for. It was a home away from home and such a beautiful experience. I am grateful to the owners for making my stay a comfortable and memorable one. They truly care about their guests. I can't wait to go back.
