We often come to Blackpool for a long weekend during the illuminations but hadn't stayed in the Henson before. There were 5 of us, all family, in 3 separate rooms and we were well taken care of from day one. After reading the reviews I was slightly worried about the hotel but on arrival the staff were brilliant, check in was quick and smooth, they'd gone the extra length to make sure they have parking for all guests. Breakfast was lovely and served quickly. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. We had an amazing weekend and the service was second to none! I'd highly recommend the hotel!! Amazing value for money!

From when i entered the hotel i was greeted by the owner,he was very polite and paid attention to me,he checked me in then offered to carry my bag to the room,he also showed me to the room.

we stayed for one night only to attend a concert at winter gardens the location was fab really close the hotel was really clean and presentable the staff were lovely and offered to do our breakfast one hour early as we all had to get to work the manager said we are very flexible they certainly were ten out of ten and a truly delicous quality english breakfast was served would not hesitate to stay again thank u all at the carlton the lumbs

Breakfast buffet was good although self-serve toast machine was a pain. Car parking was available and we were able to leave the car there after checkout. Attached Indian restaurant was excellent. Single rooms were reasonable size, clean and nicely decorated and bathroom was spacious. Staff were very helpful and friendly. - everything about our stay

WOW!!! Barry and Andrea are made for the hotel business. Before we even stepped foot inside The Hurstmere, Barry was there with a lovely warm welcome. Made welcome from the start- even helped to bring luggage in and taken stright to our room. Excellent hosts, whom even keep the teenagers entertined. Bar area excellent and pleanty full. Breakfast 5* and definitaly one for the big eaters. Would I return? Most defintaly. This lovely BnB out weighed any hotel we have ever stayed in, in Blackpool. Rooms clean and well looked after. Nice staff. Beds comfy. Bar always open during normal hours. Location; quiet, 50m from beach and opposite tram station. Tea//coffee facilities in bedroom. Lift. Our lads loved their room. Free wifi. Games room (but pool £1 & take your own darts) Allowed take away food back in hotel room. (except fish & chips as leaves strong odour) Value for money.

Kath and Rick are very friendly and helpful. Very easy to feel at ease and comfortable with its relaxed atmosphre.
