  It was simply gorgeous staying in a beautifully renovated 300 year old Ottoman house. We loved the hosts (Umran & Erhan) who were friendly, caring, generous, hospitable and very kind. They went out of their way to assist us in any way possible. They gave us brochures and maps of the area and were very informative. Their attention to detail ... ce que les gens disent » was superb. The food was delicious and always beautifully presented - tomatoes and cucumbers from the garden. Eggs from the hens running around the - A lovely town and a beautiful place to stay. Though the hotel is a bit far from the old town, its located in a beautiful historic area and Erhan and Umran were so kind in providing transportation. The breakfast they served was truly fabulous; Erhan keeps a garden and green house and a few chickens. The eggs had been layed that morning.   Everything! Loved the cosyness, when we arrived in Safranbolu we didn't want to leave the room..... We stayed in for almost 3 hours, relaxing on the divan, reading and enjoying the "time travel" sensation we had there. The hotel is a real Otoman House, it gave me the best pictures of the trip! The table was an assortment of delights, very personalized. We had a shared bathroom, but - Excellent!. If you would like to stay in a historical guest house at Sanfranbolu, that is the choice! it is very beautiful! And don't forget to take photo at the garden! The hotel is located in a quite corner ( but very close to the Carsi [ center square] . The owner is very nice, and breakfast is good as well, especially the home made jams. Love it:-)

  I stayed the guest house 5 nights! It is run by the family, they are very friendly and helpful. Their son and daughter are quite cute! They will make you happy and calm. The guest house has a terrace on its top, and the view from there is great. They serve dinner (option) if you want. I had an awesome time is Safranbolu. - Perfect location, very clean and quiet, and most of all, really very nice. The old ottoman ambience is very pleasant and everithing is carefully taken care. We were 2 couples, and had two double rooms at the second floor, one of them had a wonderful view on the Safranbolu city, but both were very nice and spacious rooms. Breakfast is rich and very Turkish, and the view from the terrace is beautiful. Very good value for money

  Gorgeous old house in great location. Ali was a great help with all our needs... Even organising a 4 am departure for us. Nothing was too much trouble. Charming room looking outi over the village.
