  We really enjoyed our trip to Zonguldak and the stay at Dedemen. The city itself is truly at a beautiful location, but the constant smell of coal in the air is a little disturbing. Even so, we enjoyed the spa and amenities and the friendliness of the staff.   My friend and I stayed here for three nights in August, and I can't say enough about this hotel. Affordable, beautiful, stylish, clean, friendly. We had a commanding view of the town and the sea from our terrace (upper floors have the best views), and our room was beautifully decorated. And if you don't feel like doing the short, uphill walk home from town - The manager Lale was terrific, and upgraded us at no extra cost to two apartments (a master suite for us and a junior suite with 2 beds for the kids). She also gave great advice on local restaurants and stores. The suites are high above the town, but beautiful and very walkable.
