We stayed in a banmai- a little lodge tucked between the trees behind the main hotel. Surroundings were stunning and the room was lovely. Really impressed with how beautiful it was given the good price. Really toclose everything but far enough away for peace, and excellent service from staff. 9 out of 10. -

The resort is in great location and the reason for staying. I wanted to spend a few days at Phra Nang based on reviews, and it is an easy walk. Being a solo traveller i stayed in their Superior bungalow which at first was great, it was obvious i received a great room, overlooking the pool at the rear. We stayed in a beach front bungalow, the two front ones are by far the best. We had ppl asking us when we were leaving so they could try to upgrade to our room. the staff were so friendly the pool clean lived up to the advertisement under 1km to beech,so could walk,7mtr high ceiling in front room a sure bet.
and the free transport to the ao nang beech everyday was a joy to stay near to the ferry port for crossings to pee pee island and hong island. felt so at peace with the birds chirping -

Abu from hotel came to pick us at the pier, like we arranged by e-mail. Very useful, we paid 100B each and didn't need to deal with local taxi (usually 150B/person when you get out of boat, they are everywhere and very annoying).
Hotel is very nice, clean and modern. Large room, with AC, hot shower and balcony. Everything looks almost new, big bed, large wardrobe, very nice for that price.
There is good and cheap local restaurant on the left when you get out of hotel, about 100m away. Look for

Pada hotel is down as a three star, but the service was worthy of 5! I could not believe how little we paid for this service. We arrived at Pada Hotel and were shocked at the amazing customer service! For the low price we paid, we had 5 star service :) we arrived and were greeted with cold tea and cold towels to cool down. Check in was easy and straight forward.
We stayed in a bungalow with fan and it was fab! Lovely big bathroom, hot shower, VERY comfy bed, clean towels everyday. They also supply beach/pool towels and they do laundry for a cheap price. Food is awesome! Try the coconut milk soup...its to die for!
