The service is outstanding. Attention to detail is what distinguishes this hotel from many others. All of the staff, from waiters to gardeners, are doing an extraordinary job being very attentive and above all very, very friendly. Rooms -
everything was perfect. food, location, staff, cleaning. Staff is very kind and friendly. Nearly every night there is a social event like wine tasting and free tapas. They arrange many facilities like snorkelling (must try) and island tours. Also they put flowers every part of hotel and really smells good :). Rooms are really big and over quality.
There are only 50 rooms in this hotel so that it is not crowded and quality oriented. Loved here.

We stayed 2 night in Pimalai at the end of 4 weeks honeymoon trip. the hotel is located right on the beach spreading further towards the hill. the beach is quite nice but depend on the tide state. we really liked the room which was really comfortable, the breakfast (they have macaroons.. :), the shed in front of the beach. The service is nice, both pools are incredible. They have nice facilities for free at the beach. "why not" bar is great.

Staff were great, Poppy made the time to talk to us. Loved the quiet bungalows with loads of room. Breakfast was fine. Didn't see the pool but assume that was in nearby hotel. Was steps away from beach. We booked 1 day and stayed for 5 I think in the end. -
Location is good, close to Saladan to be convenient but fat enough away

The modern clean design. All rooms have an ocean view. Only 15 rooms. Food is great. Quiet and private. Surrounded by nature. Shona was entertaining and accommodating. -
Each room has an amazing view of the ocean, its a great outlook. The building is modern and the staff are extremely friendly. We will definitely stay there again.

I really cannot fault this wonderful "oasis" absolutely beautiful in every way! I can't imagine there is a better located resort in Ao Nang-even though not beach front,does not matter-the staff were amazing,! Good shuttle service and 60bht tuk tuk return ride made the location easy.Can't wait to return!

I like everytrees and atmosphere in the resort, they look natural and shady. The bizarre shape of group of mountains confronting the Tubkaak beach is so stunning, the hotel seems to have its own beach so it's easy to walk down to the sea from your room in just a second. Probably the best hotel experience in our life.
We stayed 3days and everything was perfect: staff, food, facilities, swimming pool, beach, kayak, happy hour for the sunset...

Nakamanda is a fabulous resort, not too big and perfect for having a relaxed stay in beautiful surroundings. The staff is wonderful, from reception to restaurant to spa.We had a very nice contact with Book and with Brem, so special thanks to them, they were so service minded and friendly. This is a wonderful resort that is small, personal, and quiet. Our room was perfect and the bathroom was just amazing. The bathroom brings the outside into the room with lot's of natural lighting. The bed was so confortable and the internet was fast. Great pool and the staff was always pleasant and greeted you with a smile. The fact that we could relax was, to us, a major issue. The pool was well maintained as were the gardens and surrounds. Our host Ming, was excellent in everything she did, her omelettes for breakfast were very enjoyable. The resort, tho small, was for us big enough and just far enough out of town so that we would not be affected by noise but close enough for a short lift into town by their free transport. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Charlie speaks perfect English, which is also helpful.
The hotel was off of the main road but very quietly recessed. It's far enough from the very touristy area to feel authentic (and is cheaper) but you will need a 25 minute walk or 50 baht for a tuk tuk.

Charlie and Jeab are perfect hosts! We felt really welcome, they helped us with anything. Room is big and clean. Great shower. Good wifi. Location is also very good. Far from the noise but still close enough to the beach. Dvd's at reception is also a big plus. Thank you for everything! We recommend everybody to stay at Baan Taveesri.

Really loved this place. Chatchada (the owner) and Andy (the manager) are fantastic. It was like staying with family. Chatchada was always happy and smiling and was so helpful with any requests that we had. Andy was a great friendly Aussie, who was always laughing and joking.
