This is a stunning hotel in a stunning setting. Surrounded by mountains on three sides with far reaching views across the countryside. Fantastic peaceful location tucked away in the foothills.
A great get away from it all holiday destination. Rooms are really lovely. The only comment I would make is that the location wouldn't be suited to those less able to walk due the rustic nature of paths. Fantastic food. Will go back again without doubt.

Cet hôtel est absolument magnifique, les jardins les bâtiments les équipements tout est parfait. Le calme, le paysage, les tenanciers de l'établissement sont très charmants. C'est un endroit idéal pour se reposer et profiter de la nature. Il est recommander de louer une voiture afin de pouvoir découvrir cette magnifique île!

Just got back and everything about this place is as good as earlier reviews say it is. I was tempted not to add comments so I could keep this gem to myself. The staff are excellent: professional and competent whilst also friendly and good humoured. The Hotel Illa d'Or has a magnificent setting, with wonderful views both of sea and mountains; and located in a quiet spot towards the end of the Pine Walk, which makes a lovely short promenade to the centre. Personnel très très sympathique, buffet de nourriture de très grande qualité avec énormément de choix, piscine très propre, pas besoin de se battre pour avoir un transat, super animation gratuite tous les jours. -

All the staff has been amazingly pleasant and making you feel welcome. The hotel is very well equipped and modern, as are the rooms. The food at breakfast and dinner is delicious with a large choice in a buffet style. Overall fantastic place!

Cannot fault this amazing place in any way! We go every year & have done for the past 4 years, it really gets into your system! The staff are lovely, the animation team are outstanding, the food & drink are lively & facilities cannot be faulted, love it!

Excellent location. Our room had a balcony overlooking the beach. We stayed half-board and the breakfast and evening buffet was very good with lots of choice and good quality. The room was very comfortable with good beds and even UK TV channels. -

and proximity to the beach; the beach without the crowds; a good hotel
territory - 3 swimming pools, always enough deck chairs in the room;
work and attitude of the staff is great, the food is delicious and
varied. We were looking for a quiet, respectable hotel, near the sea,
