  Just got back and everything about this place is as good as earlier reviews say it is. I was tempted not to add comments so I could keep this gem to myself. We were staying B/B so cannot comment on the evening meal but the breakfast was excellent, with choice galore & as much (or little) as you wish from fresh fruit, cooked and continental br... ce que les gens disent » eakfasts, omelettes etc. The hotel staff & their service is great throughout from the front desk, bar-staff to the nice ladies who clean the rooms - The staff are excellent: professional and competent whilst also friendly and good humoured. The Hotel Illa d'Or has a magnificent setting, with wonderful views both of sea and mountains; and located in a quiet spot towards the end of the Pine Walk, which makes a lovely short promenade to the centre.   Our 7th or 8th visit. We love the Pollensa park. All friendly. Super food. Good rooms. Wonderful views. Pool area good to sunbath. Entertainments. Already wishing we were there again.   The hotel is very nice and perfectly located in the park/forest. Food was extremely good both for breakfast and dinner; we had just breakfast paid but stayed for dinner a couple of times and did not regret. Beach itself is overcrowded but sea swimming area is spacious and water is clean.
