  The hostel is really close to the city center, you can walk all day and meet the most important turistic points!!   The staff at Numancia, especially the man on the front desk the majority of the time are excellent. All our needs were met and any requests were willing to be accommodated including leaving our luggage there for a whole day (as our train trip was at night).   we had a room at the 3rd floor, with a big window and a small balcony looking at calle atocha, it was really nice. the location in excellent. short walking distance to all places of interest. the stuff was helpful and all spoke English in a good level, which is not obvious in Spain. many channels in the TV. there's a room with a washing machine a... ce que les gens disent » nd a dryer, and a common kitchen. excellent option for budget travelers in the middle of town,cost us 60 euros per night. - We loved staying in this hostal. The staff is very friendly and helful and rooms look like normal hotel rooms. The accomadations were really great in terms of price/quality. Everything was clean and we had this room facing the street with a little balcony, just great. The location is the best you can have, being 5 minutes way from Plaza Mayor or Puerta del Sol, Mercado de San Miguel, Gran Via, etc. Definetly the place to stay whenever we go to madrid.

  The staff were friendly and competent. We lost the internet connection once and they fixed it when contacted.The location was excellent, a short walk away from museums, restaurants and bars.
