from front desk to buy postcard stamps for us. Also built a fire in
lobby fireplace so we could warm ourselves. Wonderful views of raging

Excellent value in a town which is otherwise overpriced for tourists. The room was absolutely spotless and well cared-for, comfortable bed, piping hot water 24/7, free bottled water, flatscreen tv, decent wifi signal in the rooms and a beautiful view over the river. The location was also quite central - 2 minute walk either to the train station or the buses up to Machu Picchu. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Great place.

We stayed at this hotel when going to visit Macchu Picchu. We were
defrauded by our ticket broker, and even though the owners of this hotel
spoke no English (and us no Spanish), they really went out of their way
to do everything they could to help us with the crooked ticket broker. -
We stayed one night there. Clean room, Good breakfast and we we

Gringo Bill's is kind of a wild place. Full of stairs and twists and
turns. It's another world, but that's what we travel for. We
spent a little more for a junior suite. A very comfortable and clean

The woman who greets us and runs the place was so welcoming and helpful. She let us use her laptop for a few hours when we had to change plans because of a family emergency at home.
The beds were very comfortable, the room was quiet. The shower was hot and good pressure. The location is excellent; just off the main square, a couple of minutes walk to the bus station. Breakfast is set out early for those taking the first buses up to MP.

4. Breakfast (served at 5 am best time to catch bus to the Inca City, fresh fruit and juice, well displayed and served mini buffet)
5. Cleanliness (well ventilated room, tidy bathroom, clean sheets, no funny smells or nasty surprises)

The hotel rooms are beautifully designed, with a fireplace and a nice jacuzzi tub, and we had a nice view of the river from our room, though I'm not sure all rooms have the same view. The staff was friendly and did their best to accommodate us after a citywide blackout left us without electricity. -

The staff of the hotel was very friendly and helpful. As soon as I made the reservation Edison wrote me an email, offering information and help to book tours and tickets. Thanks to him I could buy the student ticket to Machu Picchu. He also come to pick us up at the train station even though we didn´t ask for it. The hostel is very good located, the rooms are very confortable and clean. The breakfast is very good, with fresh organic papaya juice. I definitely recommend this hostel! Thanks Ediso
