I would describe the furniture in the room as functional, it is certainly better than basic it is very clean with a small balcony overlooking the chalets and camper vans below and more importantly a wonderful view of the fjord. Location is amazing, we were in one fjordview room just in front of the fjord. However there is a camping in front of the hotel, so I guess it's better to stay at higher floors in order to enjoy the fjord even more (we were at 2nd floor out of 6). Breakfast is a complete buffet, you can dind everything you want, and the woman at te reception is very kind and helpful. Prices are not expensive taking into account the high prices in Norway, and it's worrh paying a little more for the room with fjo

Location couldn't be better! Restaurant is very good. We caught some fish and they cooked it for us, so we didn't have what was on the menu, but if our dinner is anything to go by they really know what they are doing! The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. They exuded warmth and went out of their way to make us welcome. The fireside reception lobby was warm and inviting. The location was superb. Breakfast was the best we had on our whole trip and the breakfast room had a light, warm and friendly feeling with a world class view. Would love to stay here again. Highly recommend.

Loved the position. Had a large room with amazing views of the mountains, water and ships. If you were disabled, the rooms too would have been easy to navigate, especially the bathroom. The reception staff were friendly and capable. The restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay there.

Very nice location by the sea, few minutes from the absolute city center. Clean hotel with an appealing architecture, both externally and internally. Very nice staff. The restaurant staff helped with a special dish for the children and toys to play with. Abundant quality breakfast.
