  I stayed in Hotel Nepalaya for 3 nights before joining tour at Thamel eco resort. My stay at Nepalaya was wonderful! From the moment I walked in to the reception area I found the staff very friendly and with a good sense of humour!(Milan- the manager I'm talking) I was taken to my room(204) and shown around. The young man(Ramesh Dulal) came and intro - Staff are very helpful and knowledgable. They were so friendly that after the first day, I could remember most of them by first name. They sent a taxi at the airport to pick me up even though I forgot to tell them my exact arrival time. Later I found out that theytook the trouble of analyzing where I m comming from and identifying the flight!!! I was completely amazed!!! The manager (Milan) was always there with helpful recomendations on bars, shopping etc. The guy at the reception desk named U

  Friendly staff and good location! I stayed here for one night only. The staff Sujan and Genesh helps me a lot when I arrive. They are soooo friendly and speaks good English. The hotel is located in Thamel area which is a popular shopping area in Kathmandu. Lots of stores around here.   The staff were excellent and very helpful. It seemed the staff was the same every day, which was great because we got to know them and they remembered our room number and things like that. The food at the restaurant was excellent, and we loved the atmosphere of the bar - playing Chicago Jazz music! The in house chef offered to make me a sandwich at 12am as I was checking in. I requested an airport pickup and got one. Breakfast was good. Would stay here again.
