Hotel is located in the Downtown area and only a block away from the Changdeokgung Royal Palace and very close to the Jongmyo Royal Shrine. The subway station is very close as well as the airport limousine bus stops (6011). The room was quite spacious with a big bathroom, but there was no shower curtain. Very pleasant, courteous, friendly and helpful staff. Generous simple complimentary breakfast. Room was simple, yet complemented by drinking machine, PC, TV, spa and array of toiletories. Plenty of eateries nearby but not for shopping. We hopped on to train to Seoul CBD with not much hassles.

This is my second stay with Kimchee, and they're now my go-to place when I'm around Hongdae. The staff members are super friendly, they provide towels for free (whereas some hostels make you pay), and there's a little kitchen area that guests are free to use. Add to this the free wifi available in the whole hostel and there's not much to complain about.

The hotel was in an excellent location - 20 yards from Yeoksam subway station. There were lots of good value cafes and restaurants very nearby. The staff were very helpful. The room was very comfortable. There was a PC in the room that could be used for internet access, etc., which was very helpful. -

Even though it was a "love hotel." It was very quiet during our 5 nights stay. I will definitely recommend this hotel to young couples if they are coming into Seoul. My fiancée and I enjoyed our stay here. But be comfortable with each other because the washroom is tinted with glass so you can see other on the other side with the lights turned on. That's why it's called a love hotel.

Location was quite convenient although it took kind of 15 minutes walk from the nearest subway station. There's nearby convenient store located around the hotel area. Staff are friendly but doesn't really speak english. Overall I enjoyed my 2 nights stay there. The room price is very reasonable with its location in the Gangnam area. -

Great place to stay with children. We stayed there last year and the kids wanted to go back again they enjoyed the wii and the communal area to relax in. They also liked making their own breakfast.
