  Kimchee hostel was located not far from Hongdae's busy area. First time I went there I asked the tourist information around Hongdae about the location of the hostel and the staff was giving me the address to be shown to a taxi driver. But when we took taxi, it's not too far! the taxi fare gone high because traffic are everywhere in Hongdae (on wee... was die leute sagen » kend) so after I took a walk around Hongdae, I can definitely walk and the direction is so easy. It was a nice experience since this is my first time - This is my second stay with Kimchee, and they're now my go-to place when I'm around Hongdae. The staff members are super friendly, they provide towels for free (whereas some hostels make you pay), and there's a little kitchen area that guests are free to use. Add to this the free wifi available in the whole hostel and there's not much to complain about.
