  The hotel was close to the Asakusa Shrine, shops and subways which would get you to the Skytree or other destinations. With a supermarket right next door and plenty of restaurants around, the convenience of this hotel was excellent.   This hotel (and I've been travelling to Japan for some 30 years) is the best value in Tokyo that I have found. The rooms are fastidiously clean. Despite being on a busy Tokyo street, I had a very quiet room on the side. The bathroom was sparkingly clean with the latest in design. The shower was delightful. They have a system where you set the time you want to get up and the lights start to shine about 1/2 hour be - I have never had such a good sleep in my entire life! The bed and the pillows were just heavenly. And the curtains didn't let any light in at all so we could sleep in as late as we wanted on our rest days. It was great! The shower was amazing as well. we stayed in 4 hotels throughout our stay and this one was our favourite.   We had a 1 month trip around Japan :- Tokyo(Asakusa), Tokyo(Yokahama), a cruise, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Osaka & back via Helsinki. Throughout Japan we were impressed by the politeness, friendliness & cleanliness & we are sure all hotels at all levels meet the same standards. This was a traditional Ryokan & needed getting used to ! It is however a unique experienc - Hotel is a quiet and peaceful haven in a busy, interesting area, just minutes away from many things to see and excellent traditional shopping. I have stayed in their tatami rooms before and this time stayed in a single (western style) room which was spacious for a single. Good to have free wifi, unlike many hotels. Tip - buy the koto cd at the reception desk as a memento.

  This is a big hotel. Located very close to Iidabashi subway station. Once we figured out the subway - in a day or so - this was very convenient. We were in and out a lot catching the subway from Iidabashi. There is a very nice bakery in the hotel.
