  I like the fact that when we had some last minute change of plans, the receptionist helped us instantly in cancelling the last night of our stay (we stayed for 5 nights) as we opted to go to another city for our last 2 days.   This hotel is very close to JR Nara station which makes it quite useful if you're doing a lot of travel out of Nara, and it's not too far a walk to the other train station in Nara. It's also very budget friendly and the staff are nice.   An extremely well-designed (but small and compact) hotel. Very friendly staff - knowledgeable and helpful and really kind. We've stayed in 4 hotels over the past 10 days in Japan and this is easily the best; much better than the place we stayed in Kyoto for 1.5 times the price.
