Definitely not my first stay at a five star hotel but Tokyo Palace is indeed one of the best I have experienced. Attention to details is key to Palace hotel, try and you will understand what I mean. -

We were doing a Michelin starred restaurant tour in Tokyo and the
manager of Customer Relation was extremely helpful. After a dozen emails
going back and forth, cancellation and reschedule, she mangaged to help
us to book some really fine restaurants. We couldn't ask for more.

Compared to other Five star hotels in Tokyo that I have stayed in, Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo is the best so far. It has a wonderful and convenient location, a luxurious and comfortable room. The service levels were the best, every staff catered to my every problem, they even accompanied me to the train station to help me out.
I would recommend this hotel to any traveler visiting Tokyo!

The Concierge staff were first rate. They got me all my bookings for the top restaurants with advance notice and keep me informed in all the places to explore. We loved our stay at the four seasons next time we are in Tokyo it's Four seasons all the way. Let me add the room service and Ekki Bar were first rate. -

Glamorous hotel with a massive shopping area downstairs. Staff were prompt and polite and the room was good. Location is great with trains going to shinjiku only 4 stops away, or the sky tree 20 minutes or so the other way. It was our first stay in Tokyo and I suppose that it is the best
location to stay if you're there for the city trip and city
discovery, it has an easy access to the Narita airport and shinkansen
express trains. The hotel is just in front of a beautiful park with the
lake full of lotuses. The only thing that we were afraid while we were
reading the comments about the hotel was the room size but it wasn't
absolutely a problem since the internal room design is perfectly done to
fulfill everything

I just loved this hotel. It was the first hotel we stayed in Japan. The room was small but lovely! Our bathroom was great and everything was very clean- as everything is in Japan. They even provided facial treatment products for the ladies. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they printed maps for us and helped us with everything. The staff are excellent. Impeccably courteous, of course, friendly, and
helpful. The room was spacious, and had two views, as it was a corner
room. One overlooked a nice garden. It was quiet and restful, yet
convenient to subway stops and really nice and (seriously) inexpensive

shops on the streets near the hotel, so you're in no way hostage to
the hotel -
The Hotel Okura is well maintained and a traditional Japanese atmosphere. The Staff is super friendly and courteous.
Bed was comfortable, the bathroom, small but clean and with everything you might need. Very clean in general. Decoration of the Hotel is a minimalistic Japanese style.
