  A truly Japanese experience. We hand a japanese style room, with a picture postcard view of the lake and mount fuji in the distance. Upon arrival, we were served tea in our room. The large room was partitioned with a sliding japanese screen doors, dividing the bedroom and seating areas. We opted for the shared bathroom (there is a toilet in the ro... ce que les gens disent » om). We really didn't know what to expect. It's a traditional, segregated male and female, bathing area. Just what we all needed after a busy day sigh - spacious room with own terrace and bar makes me more relaxing while looking to the lake in front of me. during afternoon before dinner , walking in lake for about 5 mins walk from hotel is very convenient.and we try the japanese style room! was fantastic! should really try to first time in japan.they have also shuttle bus which u can ask to pick u up in nearest station.thier english is pretty understable so probably it will be good enough to zero percent japanese langauage.lots of near japanese

  Staff were so friendly and helpful! they couldn't speak English fluently but they could understand enough for us to get our point across. Had a wonderful Japanese style room with a balcony and lovely view of the Lake when we woke up! brilliant! also has a public onsen or the option to have a bathroom adjoined to your room as well which is great fo... ce que les gens disent » r westerners! - This place is amazing if you have a room facing Mt. Fuji. The possibility to rent a bicycle to cycle around during the day (allowed until 6pm only) is a huge plus because there are so many sights and sounds to look out for. Another huge plus is the fact that we had an on-site onsen (hot bath). It is very useful after a whole day of trekking around the place.

  This is a very special ryokan. It gaves us the feeling of a real Japanese hosting - The onsen, the Kaiseky meals and the whole atmosphere. The staff was great and kind, the rooms were beautiful and clean, and the private onsen is a treat! The location is very near to the lake so you can enjoy the town main attractions, and it's 20 minutes walk from the station. There's - The dinner and breakfast was top-notch. The service was exemplary. The private onsen just outside the room is pure enjoyment. Location isn't right next to Kawaguchiko lake or facing Mt Fuji, but walking to the lake takes only 5 min. The ryokan also has complementary service to bring you to & fro Kawaguchiko train station.

  Le bâtiment à l'ancienne et le confort. - I stayed in two seperate rooms over two days on opposite sides of the hotel. The first had a wonderful view of Mt. Also loved that the staff had a good recommendation for a restaurant when we wanted a kind of food that was not represented on the hotel restaurant list. Staff was helpful. We received a lot of help and understanding from the owners, despite our inability to communicate effectively. The owners were genuinely helpful and friendly. They offered to fetch us to the bus station when we missed the timing for the bus at the bus-stop nearer to Kamifusen. In addition, the place had excellent decorations which make you feel warmth and cosy. Excellent food were also served, with taste of the foo - Really warm hospitality and the owner made arrangements for the participants in the 2013 Fujisan Marathon, something I really appreciate alot!
