  Basic but comfortable, clean. Staff were friendly and welcoming, Muggia is a lovely place for a good dinner on the marina. Trieste not too far away.

  Perfect location in Muggia, a nice little town outside of Trieste. The owner, Lydia, was very nice and helpful with everything from restaurants to contacts with the police when we got parking fines! Comfortable rooms with a big common terrace. Well worth the money!   Nedelko (Reception staff member) was smiling, funny & helpful - he helped us learn a few Italian words & answered our lame tourist questions! Rooms are spacious & double glazed windows help shut out traffic noise. Tip - ask for a room on the first floor as there is no elevator.   Perfect location, near sea and in the very center of old part of the town. Very helpful staff, they let us enter the room before 9:00 am on the first day and kept our luggage until 8:00 pm on the last day.   The location seems to be its strongest point as it is close to the bus and train stations (about a ten minute casual walk). It is also near the main sights and very close to the Grand Canal where you can dine at local restaurants for a very reasonable 20 euro or so. The staff are tremendously helpful, all you need to do is to ask them for - Staff were very friendly and helpful, I did not arrive in Trieste until midnight as was delayed en route - despite the inconvenience to them they stayed open for me to check in. Breakfast was excellent, a good choice of breads, savouries and tea/coffee. Great location, only minutes from centre and train station, hotel is on very quiet road.
