  Marco, the owner was very hands on and he supplied a lot info about things to see and do in Como and the towns around the lake. He also owns L'Antica Trattoria. We had a delicious meal there and the service was first rate. Assanto made sure that breakfast was set out every morning and he was quick to offer coffee or tea. Extremely clean, comfortable and very friendly service. On arrival offered a cup of coffee or tea. Very welcomed after a long trip. Helpful and flexible. Lovely breakfast. Freshly baked croissants each morning. Would definitely go back. Great for families or couples. Owner was preparing newly renovated self contained apartments. I am sure they will be beautiful like the one we stayed in.

The bathrooms are clean and comfortable, the kitchen is really cosy and the owner of the place will make a breakfast on your taste in the morning. I enjoyed our stay really much! - Great personal service by the very gracious owner, Rosanna. She waited for my very late arrival on a Sunday night and was ready every morning with breakfast and a nice chat. The location is superclose to the center, and for me was perfect because it was midway to the center and to the lakeside Villa Olmo where I had to work. Room was very spacious and beautiful, with a gorgeous balcony to top it off.

  this is one of the best places we have ever stayed. maria and husband paul met us at the bus station 2 mins away. this was A good idea because the B&B is in A private building on the 4th floor, and only signed by A button on the intercom. there is A lift for access. the apartment was pure luxury for the money.   The location of the hotel is very practical as far as access to the centre of the city is concerned; just a 5 minute walk to restaurants and other amenities. The room was very comfortable and was equipped with full-functioning air conditioning which was an essential as temperatures soared to close to 40 degrees during our stay. Breakfast is served at a time suited to you and is perfectly adequate; croissants, yoghurt, toast, eggs, ham etc. T - Don't be put off by the external appearance. The hotel is down an alleyway off a slightly scruffy side road (literally) on the wrong side of the railway tracks from the old town. The only clue to its presence is a "23" on a laminated sign at the entrance to an old courtyard. Once inside however, in a typically Italian way, all is transformed. The rooms are lovely, beautifully furnished and immaculately clean. The bathroom to our room was huge, with a shower large enough to take several friends

  We were met by Ilaria the owner who wanted to ensure that everything we needed was there and she very kindly arranged to deliver fresh, still warm croissants early in the morning as part of breakfast. We choose to prepare our own breakfast but Ilaria also offered to do it. Ilaria sent us details of parking at only 3 Euro a day. - Ilaria was very helpful and made us very welcome. There was a choice for breakfast - either made for us or delivered for us to accommodate our schedule. The location is directly in the old town which is very convienent in a beautiful street. It's right in the centre of Como. When the tv didn't work it was fixed same day.
