John and Rae were very helpful and gave us lots of helpful information and recommendations about the surrounding area and places to visit. There was a very comfortable, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I liked the location, I liked the hosts, who were ever welcoming whenever we returned to the place offering us tea/coffee, excellent local knowledge and providing us with latest weather updates. They also procured some local products we wanted. They were friendly, hospitable, but never intrusive, it was as near as being at home could be. we were made very welcome. the breakfast was great

Have just returned home after spending the most incredible week at burn
brig house. The house is beautiful very clean and tidy. We were a family
of 5. We had the family room which was fine and big and comfortable. The
owner Ivan is very friendly and helpful and makes you feel welcome from
the minute you arrive. The breakfast is exceptional really sets you up
