Jane and I stayed one night at Arkell House.The owners,Hilary and Alan, made us very welcome from the outset.They are both friendly, informative and eager to help and give advice about the history of Rathlin,and what to do and see.Hilary also cooked us a superb meal at a very reasonable cost on the night of our stay.Also the accomodation was delightful and good value.

Nuala looked after us so well and went beyond what was required by
leaving my wife's medication, which we had left behind, in Belfast
with a friend while she was there. We were able to pick it up there. Now

What a gem! Everything was supplied to make my visit enjoyable. After an exhausting drive Joanne was so friendly and suggested a meal from the restaurant which was delivered to my suite. Delicious. After a day trip to Giant's Causeway it was so great to relax with a glass of wine in my warm and cozy lounge. Will definitely return.

The accommodation was excellent. We had milk,bread and cereals provide which was great as we arrived late. Even though we were late there was someone to meet us and explain about the heating etc. It was a lovely weekend break. -

The situation of the hotel, close to Larne ferry terminal, was excellent. The hotel itself is perfect. The staff were extremely helpful, the rooms large and spacious, beautiful bathrooms, everywhere spotlessly clean. Over our stay we had breakfast, lunch and dinner in the hotel which were all very good and excellent value, altho the portions could do with being smaller - we had no room for puddings!
