It was about a 5 minute walk to Syntagma Square and the train station there which was perfect since we arrived on the train from the airport. Tons of restaurants within a few blocks, off the main streets so very quiet. The staff was very helpful with maps and directions. We were able to walk to all the major attractions with young children. They also provided a baby bed for us free of charge. They had beverages to purchase in the lobby at very reaso

  The hotel sited just 3m from Omonoia metro+sub station, and in Exarheia area there are many cafe/restaurants/bar/clubs if anyone decides to hang around - A pretty good location. The AC worked great.

  The Central Hotel is very well situated in Athens in the Plaka, with a view of the Acropolis from our room, but also within a few short blocks of the main Athens shopping districts. We took x95 from the airport but it stopped pretty far from the square and we walked about 1.5km with 4 luggages! I would recommend taking a metro or ask hotel to book a transfer: €40 one way. Staff: very friendly and helpful. We flew to Santorini after check-out and we could stored the luggages at the hotel for 2 days. Clean. It has free wifi and a roof top bar with a go

  We arrived really late after an evening flight and were really happy that this hotel was so easy to find - even in the dark! Only a couple of minutes from Monasteraki underground station in the plaka area which is lively on a night and feels pretty safe : ) the room was clean and simple, and also had a balcony with an excellent view of the acropol... ce que les gens disent » is... Very comfortable and clean room.Good location in the centre of the city, just a few minutes walk to the metro, the eymos (main street),the acropolis and the bus stop for X95 to the airport. Easy to find and safe surrounds. I've booked a simple room. Good price.
