I stayed here for a total of 4 nights with a break of 1 night when I went to Delphi. The staff are very friendly and helpful.   The location of Athos Hotel is perfect. We took the metro from the airport to Syntagma Square, then walked only about three blocks to the hotel. It's close to restaurants, sights and shopping, but on a quieter side street. The shopping streets are close by too, as well as lots of good eating options.

  This is a hotel for the no-nonsense traveler that wants to spend his time visiting the wonders of Athens. Location is one of the best in Athens for visiting everything Staff is very nice and helpful, 24h/day. It's easy to get to the hotel from the airport - you just need to get X95 bus and get the latest station, whole jorney will take about 45 minutes and 5 euro.   We loved our stay at this hotel. Very friendly staff, great service, personal approach. We felt at home there. The room had a retro style to it which reminded me my childhood home. I loved it. We were able to walk most places and did not have to use the metro much at all. From our room the wifi was weak, but we could use a neighboring hotel's wifi and it was a good signal. We didn't eat the breakfast so I'm not sure how it was. The fridge in the room was not already turned on, so we had to turn it on. It was helpful to have an aditional mirror outside the bathroom for getting
