  I was actually amazed by the hotel. I hadn't expected this standard at all. The bathroom was just beautiful! And I have a particular bee in my bonnet about hotel bathrooms. It was the best hotel bathroom I've ever had the pleasure of using. Location is great, literally around the corner from the S1, S2 and S25 (I could see the st - We chose this hotel both for location and price for a long, Xmas market weekend. On arrival, we were informed that our room rate (c€75/night) was inclusive of breakfast, soft drinks and hot drinks, which was a real bonus. Breakfast selection is fabulous, ranging from the usual cold buffet, cereals etc but also omelets made to order, bacon, sausages etc. Location is ideal for sightseeing by foot - Gestapo HQ, Berlin Wall etc only 10 minutes away, but of course you can also hop on/hop off the sig

  I think my trip to Berlin would have not been the same if I stayed somewhere else. Staying here I had the pleasure of meeting an amazing staff that was willing to help you 27/7 in any needs you had. The rooms were clean and spacious, the bathrooms were modern and cleaned every day, and the social area always had people willing - I was in a 6 bed room. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shared bathroom had 3 showers and the water was hot which I liked the most. The hostel was convenient to the west city center. There's a underground station next to it. The stuff were all very friendly and very helpful. They introduced the whole city to us and marked the popular places to go on the map for us, saved us lots of time. Love this....

  We loved everything about the Alitania apartments, the apt was just like home, bright, extremely clean beautifully furnished. The location is superb. It was our 3rd time in Berlin in 2 years but our first staying in an apartment. Mela the manager had the apt equipped for us and even had a present for my son, she is a lovely lady. There is a shopping centre 20 meters from the front door that has 2 supermarkets in the basement. There must be at least 30 restuarants witin walking distance as well as the sony centre. Good mix of clientel young, kids, mature, business etc. Checkpoint Charlie about 200yds away. Amazing chocolate shop around corner. Staff were friendly and always helpful. The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had, great choice. Healthy fruit and cereals to bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs.
