In winter cold room
Room was clean and adequately comfortable though somewhat narrow. Complimentary breakfast was enjoyable. The price is very reasonable indeed for a hotel conveniently situated only a few minutes from Potsdamer Platz and the Kulturforum. So it's excellent value for money.
There is no communal lounge or bar. Reception staff say nothing to make you feel at home and are not pro-active. I felt the amenities of the hotel were not 3 stars but 1 or 2 at best Room curtains don't cover the whole window so you need a mask if light disturbs your sleep.

This is a simple but clean place, with moderate prices and very good located.
As recommended by other guests, we found it in a good location for sightseeing, the room was very clean and quite comfortable for 3, the breakfast was good and staff was very friendly. In general, it was very good for those traveling on budget for sightseeing and small businesses.
It was a bit noisy as the room was facing the street and the door was right in front of the entrance door.

Do not ask for single beds. You will get the worst room. Room was long and narrow. There was not even a good chair to sit and relax in. It is also above the pizza restaurant so you can-t open the window from lunch time.

Slightly uncomfortable bed
The rooms were spacious and very clean. The staff was friendly, the location very practical and the place has a general positive feeling about it. Also, it was much appreciated that our early check-in request was taken into account and we could move into the room as early as 8:00!
There was no common room to hang out or surf the internet, only the dining room where normally people are not allowed to sit around in.
Small olderstyle hotel, spotlessly clean, modern en suite, delicious buffet breakfast included in the price. Close to the city and sights. Pleasant and helpful staff, quiet. Buses door to door from city and station. Secure as door locked at 8pm but given own key to come and go. Lift to first floor and plenty of local restaurants.
No coffee and tea making facilities in room, but took our own.

No air conditioner - our room has a very huge window that's heavy to open. Because it's very warm in the room, we had to open the window and it's noisy (hotel next to main street). No coffee-making facilities.

I found the bed uncomfortable.
The location was OK, not far from the center and the park. The breakfst was nice and there is good speed free WiFi in each room. it was clean. Overall you have everyting you need for a place where you sleep, have a breaksfast and then hit the city.
It looks more like a hostel than like a hotel. Recpetion closes at 19:00 and one of the receptionsist did not speak English (good that I speak Russian). the double room was very minimalistic, good that I was alone. There was no airconditioning in the room so I don't know how this works during the summer months.
The location was very close to city center. we were there while the temperature was about -5 and the room was warm enough. the wifi connection at our room was perfect and the room was pretty clean.The breakfast was complete and divers for all tastes.
The hotel in fact was the first floor of a building and no more. there was no phone, no electric kettle and no refrigerator at our room. the woman at the reception couldn't speak English and the reception room was open until 20:00.

The location was so so because it was far away to walk to main squares or metro station, you need to take bus.

Location near Potsdamer Platz (10 minutes by walk), all main sight- seeing places are in 4-5 metro stops. Acceptable breakfast, friendly Russian- speaking personnel. Wi-fi works well.
Rather small and modest room even for money paid, very cold and little bit noisy from the street. If you are coming after 7 P.M. please do not forget to contact them, they will leave your key in special safe box near entrance.
